Finding Unique Examples
The good thing about groom speech examples is that many of them alow you to fill in the “Blanks” and still create a reasonably tailored wedding speech. I have found they work best by giving example layouts and prompts as follows:
• People you should thank
• Stories you can tell
• The feelings of your big day
• Groom wedding speech jokes
• The Brides attributes
• Involving the guests by thanking them individually
These are just some of the elements that the wedding speech examples I found included. However, here is a further prompt list of what to say:
- Make sure you begin with, “On behalf of my wife and I”…
- Thank the guests for joining you on this special day and for their gifts and support
- Thank the brides parents for their daughter and say that you will look after her well – present thier gifts
- Thank and cmpliment your own parents
- Thank the Best Man for getting you to the church on time!
- Thank Bride – Your chance to publically declare your love and freindship
- Thank the bridesmaids and maid of honor
- Before passing over to the bestman propose a toast to the brides maids
